Don has been very busy the past couple of years, performing alot in his hometown of Los Angeles, as well as doing a lot of roadwork with The Grandmothers, here in the USA and in Europe. Don actually just (May09) returned from Europe , a very fun, short run with the GRANDMOTHERS, they will return to EU in August -- for the Zappanale 20 and some continental dates. Don has also been touring as a special guest of PROJECT/OBJECT, he did a 10-day run in Jan/Feb 2009 , sharing the Project/Object stage with Ike Willis & Ed Mann, for some historic concerts, as the three alumni have never toured together.  He will hit the stage again with Project/Object at the Zappanale 20 as well, preceded by dates in Holland, England, Spain and Germany. Don also hopes to tour again this fall with the AKASHIC ENSEMBLE, both in the east coast USA and in Europe, where the trio were most recently seen onstage in Germany, Czech republic and Austria. The other great  news is that Don has had some classic, hard-to-find albums re-released - as well as a few BRAND NEW releases  -- check the CD page for details. All releases will be available thru cdbaby.com, at the shows and through iTunes and a number of other electronic download sources. New Releases include solo work, an album by Akashic Ensemble, the career-spanning- "RETROSPECTIVE" and his music for a series of plays in LA, "THE GARY PLAYS". Thanks!!
